Dear Falcon Friends and Family, You may know Fort Settlement is an excellent school with talented, caring staff, hardworking students and involved parents. But, did you know that the PTO helps maintain this standard of excellence by providing supplemental funding and volunteer support? The PTO’s primary goal is to provide FSMS with funds, programs, resources, and services that support, enrich and maximize the educational opportunities of every child at FSMS.

In order to supplement the funding received from FBISD and support ongoing quality programing and services no longer covered by decreased State funding for public education, we raise money through the “Falcon Fundraiser”. We need your help to continue providing this support! Through the Falcon Fundraiser, each family is able to donate money directly to the FSMS PTO through a tax deductible¹ contribution. The PTO, working with FSMS administration and teachers, allocate 100% of your donation to fund programs, services and technology gifts that benefit the students right here at Fort Settlement.

In recent years, PTO funds were used to fund Chromebooks to provide additional access to online resources, teacher requests for supplemental educational materials and help begin updating the FSMS library. With your help, we will continue to support these and other improvements for our students. We are asking each and every Falcon Family to make a donation to the Falcon Fundraiser to help us reach our goal of 100% Falcon Family participation! The average Falcon Family donation is $100 or roughly 55 cents per school day. The continued support of all Falcon Families is crucial for sustaining successful enrichment opportunities for all students at FSMS. Please make your donation today! Support your student and your school. Your donation will help us continue providing the FSMS student body with supplemental quality programming and educational experiences so they can excel in their academic endeavors.
