Michael Hejducek
Principal
Here is a little about myself and my background. I have been married to my wife Julie for the past twenty-five years. We have one son, Stephen, who is 24 and lives in Houston, Texas. I received my bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University (GO BEARS!) and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Houston (GO COOGS!). I have been in the field of education for the last 32 years and an administrator for the last 24 years. I continue to be blessed by being a part of another sensational Fort Bend school.
My main goal is to ensure that every student is provided the highest quality of education possible in a safe and supportive learning environment. I have always believed in the team concept of working together as a team with our staff and parents, and I am committed to helping each student achieve their very best. Every student is valued and worthy of our best effort.

Associate Principal 6th Grade Principal
I am originally from Victoria, TX and received my Bachelor’s from Texas A&M University and my Master’s from the University of Houston – Main. This is my 18th year as an educator and my fifth year at Fort Settlement. Although I spent most of my teaching career at the high school level, middle school is by far my favorite age group. I enjoy working with kids and watching how much they grow and mature over such a short period of time. My wife and I are the proud parents of our beautiful two year daughter, Zoe, and a golden retriever named Murphy. When I’m not at school, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read and barbeque. I truly love being a part of the Falcon Family and think of Fort Settlement as my second home.
I hope you have a wonderful school year and look forward to meeting you.

Dr. Jennifer Williams
Assistant Principal 8th Grade Principal
Welcome to Fort Settlement Middle School! My name is Jennifer Williams, and I am one of the assistant principals. I began my career in education in 1996 right here in Fort Bend ISD. From 1996-2001 I taught 8th grade U.S. History at Quail Valley Middle School and also coached volleyball, basketball and track. I also served as the Social Studies Department Head while at Quail Valley. I have served as an assistant principal at Fort Settlement since our inaugural year in 2001. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston in 1996 and my Masters of Education in Administration in 1999. I received my Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University in 2010.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Steven since 1993. We are the proud parents of three amazing children. Our oldest son, Colton, is a junior at Clements High School and our younger son, Caleb, is a freshman at Clements. Our daughter Cammie is a 6th grader here at Fort Settlement. I am proud to say all three of my children were lucky enough to attend Fort Settlement Middle School! As a family we enjoy going to movies, attending sporting events and just hanging out together.
As a mother and educator, I know how important communication is between the school and the home. Please know I am here for you if you ever have any concerns. I look forward to working with you and your children to help them reach their maximum potential.

Assistant Principal 7th Grade Principal
This is my 14th year in education, and my first here at Fort Settlement. Before becoming an administrator I was a special education teacher, Department Chair, and Campus Improvement Specialist. I have spent 12 of my 14 years at the middle school level, and I love it. I received my master’s degree from Concordia University, Austin.
My husband and I have been married for 17 years and are proud parents to a sixth-grade daughter and fourth-grade son who keep us very busy with church, scouts, and sports. Outside of school I enjoy being a Girl Scout leader, reading, crocheting, camping and cooking.
My goal as an administrator is to partner with you and our teachers to help our students reach their fullest potential. I strive to be the kind of administrator I would working with my own children. I am thrilled to be part of the Falcon family. Please feel free to contact me any time. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year here at the Fort.
